Age Limit

• Age Limit: from 17 ½ to 25 years should have completed 17 ½ on the first day of enrolment and must have not crossed 25 yrs on the last day of enrolment.
• Candidates born between 31 Mar 2000 to 01 Apr 2007 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.

For Male:

Height:

• Western Himalayan. Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab Hill (Area South and West of the Inter State Border between Himachal Pradesh and Punjab and North East of Road Mukeria, Hoshiarpur, Garh Shankar and Ropar, Garhwal and Kumaon (UK): 163 cms
• Eastern Himalayan. Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam and Hill Region of West Bengal (Darjeeling Distt): 160 cms
• Western Plains. Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh (Meerut and Agra Div): 170 cms
• Eastern Plains. Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha: 169 cms
• Central Plains. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Dadar Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu: 168 cms
• Southern Plains. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Goa and Puducherry, A&N Islands: 166 cms
• Gorkhas & Ladakhis: 157 cms
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standards.
• Chest Expansion: The candidate should be capable of chest expansion of 05 cms

Physical Fitness Test (Male): Candidates will be tested as stated below during the selection trials:-

For Female:

• Height: 162 Cms
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standards.
• Chest Expansion: The candidate should be capable of chest expansion of 05 Cms

 Pay & Allowances/ Pension

 (a) Pay and Allowances. Pay & allowances for direct entry Havildar and Naib Subedar shall be same as applicable to existing Regular Serving Personnel of Indian Army as per provision of Army pay Rules, 2017 and amendments thereon.

(b) Pension. Pensionary benefits will be governed as per the extant provisions contained in    Pension Regulations for the Army -2008 and amended from time to time.

(c) Other Benefits. All other benefits viz. CSD, medical facilities etc shall be applicable to them, as existing for Regular Serving Personnel of Indian Army and amendments from time to time.

2.   Fill the Application Form: Fill in all the required details accurately and completely.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of the following stages:

1.   Screening of Applications: Applications will be screened to ensure that candidates meet the eligibility criteria.

2.   Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a PFT, which will include a 1.6 km run, a 9-foot ditch, and a zig-zag balance test.

3.   Physical Standards Test (PST): Candidates will also be required to meet certain physical standards, such as height and weight.

4.   Skill Test: Candidates will be tested on their skills in their respective sports.

5.   Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the PFT, PST, and skill test will be required to undergo a medical examination.
