Exam PatternThe OPSC Civil Services Examination consists of three stages: 1. Preliminary Examination:o Two objective-type papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) o Paper 1: General Studies o Paper 2: CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) o Both papers are of two hours duration each. o Paper 2 is qualifying in nature. Candidates must score at least 33% marks to qualify for the Main Examination. 2. Main Examination:o Written examination consisting of several papers, including compulsory and optional subjects. o The marks obtained in the Main Examination will be considered for the final merit list. 3. Personality Test/Interview:o Candidates who qualify in the Main Examination will be called for a Personality Test/Interview. o The final selection will be based on the combined performance in the Main Examination and the Personality Test/Interview. |
